This February issue is all about how we find our creativity and inspiration in the middle of winter. Northern Indiana has about as many gray sky days as Seattle, Washington, or so someone told me after I moved here from Alaska 17 years ago. Just as in Fairbanks in the middle of winter, I find we have to LOOK for ways to be creative and inspired here as well. Look to creative arts, music, and the landscape around you. Look to what your friends enjoy doing, and you may be surprised by the yearning to try your hand at something new.
Reverie has a whole list of classes built to introduce the beginning fiber artist to working with their hands. Our students create beautiful and functional knit, crochet, and woven wear. We offer beginning to advanced classes in several areas of fiber work. Interested students can take private lessons in spinning their own yarn, dyeing fiber and yarn, needle felting, and wet felting. (The drawings are from an elementary school student who participated in a spinning demonstration by Maggie and Trish.)
St. Valentines Day is rapidly approaching!
To help you be inspired to show your love or appreciation to a friend or loved one, for First Friday on February 3rd, Reverie is offering a free Valentines Card with a purchase of Debrand Boxed Truffles or any gift over $20. (An ultra soft and warm alpaca woven scarf may be what your Valentine desires...) Come in soon for best selection of both.
New Yarns have Arrived!
We now carry Classic Elite Soft Linen (wool, linen, & alpaca blend) in six pastel colors.

Cestari Sheep & Wool Company is our newest yarn vendor. We are carrying several styles, including 100% superfine Merino, Cotton / Linen blends, and 100% Cotton. Cestari is a company located in Virginia, and they source cotton and wool produced in the United States.
All of our classes are now offered on our website, www.reverieyarn.com. You can view the class descriptions, sign up and pay all on online! Of course, we still love to see our customers in person, so ask about classes the next time you are in.
